I am really sorry for spam. Actually, for my huge content website, search is one of the key functionalities else the user will be lost in site. Therefore, I have high hopes from your plugin.

a) Unfortunately no, it’s completely controlled by your theme.
b) Yes, but I don’t recommend using it yet, as there was recently discovered that it may cause higher database load as expected. It’s a very complicated issue, as the plugin supports multiple search instances, with multiple options, where all of them can override the results, and the current storage method to parse the options upon paginated results is using sessions – I highly recommend keeping it like this for now, until the next release. I would rather not go into more details about this if you don’t mind.
I’ve already worked out a better solution for this, it’s under testing, should be out very soon.
