Hi,
Please advise if Ajax Search Pro could work with SearchWP seamlessly.
Based on my understanding, Ajax Search Pro primarily only affect the “Search Box”, while SearchWP primarily affects only with the items on the Result “Page”.
If my understanding is correct, then Ajax Search Pro should work with SearchWP seamlessly, since there are no conflict in functionality.
Thanks.
May 12, 2017 at 11:11 am #13076Hi!
As far as I know, they should work fine together. By default the search results page override is not activated in Ajax Search Pro, so it simply redirects to the results page when hittin the return button – where the items should be overridden by SearchWP, if it’s activated.
I’m not too familiar with the SearchWP plugin in depth, but as far as I know, it automatically overwrites the search results with it’s own, when visiting the results page.
Best,
Ernest Marcinko

Thanks for the reply.
FYI, I installed SearchWP, and it works perfectly well together with Ajax Search Pro.
Best of both worlds achieved 🙂
Thanks for your awesome plugin!
