Hi
I’m using Ajax Search Pro, it works great other than searching content that is within a “TablePress” plugin table.
In the settings “Search in custom post type” I enabled “TablePress Tables” but this didn’t seem to affect the search results.

Do you have any ideas why or how to fix it?

Hi,
I am guessing you want to search the contents within the tablepress tables, and return the Post/Page that contains that table?
That configuration will not work, as it tells which post types to return as results, but TablePress post types are not separate ‘pages’, but shortcodes. You can de-select that post type on that option.
The solution is to use the Index Table engine. It allows indexing the shortcodes content (including the TablePress shortcodes):
– Generating the index table
– Enabling the index table
