Hi Thomas,
The plugin does not collect nor send any user information whatsoever.
It can use 2 Cookies, but both are disabled by default:
1st Cookie can be used to store the search phrase and the settings on the results page after search – to maintain the search state during pagination, it does not store any other information. This cookie is only used when redirected to the results page, an only if the following options are set exactly like this: https://i.imgur.com/oBB2iz8.png
2nd Cookie is only set on the site back-end for administrators, to memorize if the accessibility mode is enabled: https://i.imgur.com/FrGQOFa.png
This Cookie is not used on the front-end of the site (for visitors).
I will add a warning message to the upcoming release to inform the administrators if the cookie in the 1st case is used, when they change these options. Although it is not a tracking cookie, and is not enabled, but given the regulations it is better to be aware of it.
