ParticipantHello!
I was wondering, how can i make ajax search pro work in a way that when you search for a product category, instead of displaying hte category, it’ll display the products inside the category
For example i have the categroy with the name “Shoes”
When someone types “Shoes”, it’ll display all products inside the shoes category!If that’s not possible, how can I make a keyword display results of another keyword?
For example , shoes in greek is “Παπούτσια” in plural, but “παπούτσι” if it’s not in plural!
How can i make “παπούτσια” search == “παπούτσι” ;
thanks in advance!May 20, 2018 at 3:59 pm #17938m_liolios

KeymasterHi,
If you want to search taxonomy terms, but return the posts as results, then make sure that:
– This option is enabled
– And that nothing is enabled under the General Options -> Sources 2 panel: https://i.imgur.com/1JS1G9c.pngYou can use the additional keywords to enter the plurals or additional words as you want. Those does not need to be translated via WPML, as WPML creates separate posts for each language. If you edit the translated post, then you can enter the translated keywords into that meta box under the editor screen.

ParticipantIt’s keywords for products, not posts, and in the translation screen of WPML, they do not appear!

KeymasterHi,
Is the meta box enabled for that custom post type, and is it set to visible? Please check this section of the documentation, and let me know.

ParticipantI found the issue!
It was due to WPML setting of translating products with it’s own UI, instead of wordpress basic one! (under woocommerce multilingual -> settings) !I have one more issue!
Isotopic navigation doesn’t scroll on mobile landscape rotation, meaning that result on row 2 is not possible to be viewed!May 22, 2018 at 12:35 pm #17969Ernest Marcinko
KeymasterHi,
Can I check on this issue somewhere? On my test environments it seems to work correctly. Thank you!
