ParticipantIt’s an intranet server.
Previous version: 4.11.10
Updated version: 4.13.1
The issue comes after updating the plugin In search engine “index table engine”
In the updated version, it does not bring the post description with taxonomy fields( keywords) in the search.
with the previous version, we were able to taxonomy fields as well as post without enable enabling search in content and exert.
please check the image.

Please make sure to check the following options:
– On the Search Instance, General Options -> Sources panel, if the correct post types are selected: https://i.imgur.com/FWiFseY.png
– On the Index table options submenu, check if the correct post types are selected: https://i.imgur.com/ss1nS5C.png
– On the Index table options submenu, check if the correct taxonomy terms are selected to be indexed as well: https://i.imgur.com/tJ2JbTl.pngAfter making any changes, make sure to re-create the index table as well. If these does not work, you can add temporary admin access, and I will check your configuration.

ParticipantWe can’t provide you access because it’s working internally in the internal server.
I double check it. All settings were there as per your instruction.
The issue is it’s not bringing the post description with taxonomy terms in the new version.

I see, the policy article post type is not returned when searching for the corresponding taxonomy term ”purchasedleave” is entered.
May I as, is this article returned for a different keyword? Thank you!

Yes, that is the issue. On the new version it’s retuning the article only when we type words included in article title (we are using only title and keywords taxonomy for search).
If the word is from keywords taxonomy field and not included in title, it is not returning the article as the result, we’ll have to click on taxonomy term first and select the article that term was using from the results articles list on results page. It’s 2 steps rather than 1 step we had with older version.
