Hi,
i have a problem with the “auto population”.
I use the search as a filter for publications. I have different types of publications like “book, documentation etc.”. These types are custom fields.
So if i go to the publication overview, i first want to show all books. But if i use my filter for the types i cant switch from books to documentation as example. When i switch i just get the error “Sorry there are no results for your search.”.To get a clearer view:
– There is one page as a overview of all publications
– All filters i use are custom fields
– if i come to the overviews i first want to show only books
– if i want to switch from books to documentations with my filter for my “types” i get the “no results message”Thank you a lot.

I am not sure if I can tell without actually seeing the issue. I suspect that there might be a syntactical error, maybe the documentation is not typed in correctly, or it uses a different value, or maybe there is a typo in the custom field name.
If the filter works with ‘books’, then there is probably only a typo in the word ‘documentation’, or something similar. If you want, you can include a URL and back-end details, and I will check it out.
