I am not sure, but it is not plugin related, as the plugin does not affect that. I would definitely check the .htaccess rules, as well as the configuration of the multi-language solution, especially around permalinks. It is also possible that the CDN you have might be redirecting incorrectly. It has to do something with redirections or permalink processing.
