Is the issue occuring somewhere else, or for some specific conditions? Let me know.
The results page cannot be controlled/changed by the plugin unfortunately, that is a theme feature. You might have to ask the theme author, or make changes to the search.php file (or equivalent) in the theme/child theme directory.
