It’s as the title states. I’m trying to include additional mime types into the search query, like pdf and word documents. I add in new mime types, like application/pdf and hit save, and it defaults to the image mime types, without the new settings entered.

Attached is a screen of what I’ve tried and I hit save, and it indicates it successfully saves, but the textarea field defaults to the image types without the new setting.

I am running 4.14.6, the latest version, with a Divi theme.

    Hi!

I suspect this might be related to the input/autofill browser plugin you might be using, at least I can see spin icon on your screenshot, here: https://i.imgur.com/hoV4k3U.png
I tried to replicate the issue on multiple browsers and test environments, but it works, and there are no other reports of it either. Can you please try de-activating that input/autofill browser plugin, and try it again? Some of these plugins block input/keyup/keydown etc.. events, which may explain the issue.

    I hope this helps!

    Best,

Thank you! Yes, that was the issue. I turned it off and it was able to successfully save.
