Hi,

I want to use your great search engine and have some questions:

https://groupnet.gruen.net/demo-suche/

1. Please open the search und search for “GRÜN”. When I click the “show more” button (see 1 in screen) I get a 414 http error. Do you have an idea?

2. I have a problem with the Z-INDEX. When I integrate the search in the sidebar (https://groupnet.gruen.net/beitraege-news/) the results are below the other boxes. Changes the Z-INDEX in the settings have no result.

3. When I use the “most searched keywords” widget I get a 414 error page, too.

Hi Andreas,

Can you please check the log-in details. I tried log-in when opening the given URL, but it does not seem to let me in. Thank you!

Hi,

1. 3.: Error 414 usually indicates a too long URL, some servers have a specific restriction, although it is very rare. I changed this option to overcome the problem: https://i.imgur.com/R89Fj81.png

2. I believe is due to the fact, that the search results layout is set to block, instead of the default ‘hover’. In that case the position is not relative, thus z-index has no effect. Changing back the layout to hover mode should very likely resolve the problem: https://i.imgur.com/d2zmo8a.png
