Count of results per filter

Hey, thanks for the great plugin. It’s difficult to find options sometimes, but you’ve got an option for just about anything!

I’ve searched the net several times and can’t find any code examples to count how many results will be available per category or other filter.

This West Virginia University history archive is doing what I am trying to mimic

It has a count for each term, and then once I select one, it narrows the other ones down to how many results would be available, and even removes empty ones.

The little bit of code/DB understanding I have, makes me think this feature is actually rather complex and would need to be built into the index, but I figured I would ask, just in case.

If this features is possible, I would also require being able to link to filters from the URL. Is that possible as well?

Hi,

Thank you very much for your kind words!

I’m afraid this is not possible, at least not yet. We are working towards a better fitlering UI, at some point something similar will be available, but not in the nearest future unfortunately.

Yes, thank you. The last time I used this support system, I thought I noticed an option to ‘mark this topic resolved/closed’ but I do not see anything like that this time.
