ParticipantHi. I don’t found how works properly with TYPO mistakes.
this is my development website, I indexed products, posts and pages.

One t-shirt is called “beagle”, but if I try to search “beagel” appear as nothing is found.
I don’t like to use google sugerences due I see that normally is not related with our content and is generating more confussion.
In my old magento store, if I write beagel, show me the alternative beagle as is most simillar result:

Thank you!
Regards.

KeymasterHi,
Because the plugin runs on your local server, and there is no monthly fee for 3rd party hosting, only the generic google keyword suggestion service can be used. Unfortunately since that is a free service, it cannot be restricted to the given website, all you can do is turn it off, if it is not needed.
Typo detection is a very resource heavy operation, when executed on the server side. As an alternative, you can use either of these features:
– Additional keywords metabox
– ..or synonyms feature -> this is more globalNovember 25, 2019 at 9:01 am #24721rafasshop70
ParticipantHi.
I don’t know how works, but I was using this feature included in magento extension from 5 years ago without server issues:
https://mirasvit.com/magento-extensions/sphinx-search-ultimate.html
I am not using sphinx server, only using his own internal search engine and works like a charm.
I try to say you, that is old featured implemented in some plugins/extensions/modules for different CMS and can be added as a very usefull option for your plugin.
If in case of worpdress use many resources, maybe you simply need to add a message that is a very resource heavy operation and that is not recommended to enable for shared hostings.
Thank you to have in consideration.
Regards.

KeymasterHi,
Thank you very much! I will definitely take a look at their solution, however I am almost sure they have a 3rd party spell-check service active, as their pricing starts at 249$.
