    Ajax Search Pro will not activate for some odd reason. It was activated when I first installed. It then said I didn’t haven’t the correct permissions to use that plugin page. I then changed permalinks and it disappeared from my dashboard. It now won’t activate at all. I’ve installed manually and I let wordpress install the zip. And neither has fixed the issue.

    So I reinstalled Ajax Search Lite, Ajax Search Pro disappeared. I then deactivate Ajax Search Lite and Ajax Search Pro reappears and is active. So it seems to work at the moment.

    Hi!

    Thanks for the proper details, it helped me a lot. I’m not sure why was this happening. I uninstalled the lite version just in case, tried to activate, then it worked. It was maybe a temporary server issue, I can’t think of anything else.
    It should be working now.
