I have Dis Fields Author of Book and Book Title that does not work,
I have followed the instructions at https://documentation.ajaxsearchpro.com/general-settings/search-in-custom-fields but for example when I try to search John Rawls in the search engine “Author (Books)” you can not find anything and if there are fields Personalized Author Deputy Capture
    What I can do?
I have followed the indications of https://documentation.ajaxsearchpro.com/general-settings/search-in-custom-fields

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

    Thank you for the details!

I can’t see too much from the front-end only, but make sure the correct custom post types are selected to be returned as results: https://documentation.ajaxsearchpro.com/general-settings/search-in-custom-post-types
If yes, then make sure the post type selectors are disabled, as those will still have effect even if the search settings are not visible on the front-end.

    Hi,

Thank you for the details, I logged in to check.

On search ID=8 on the advanced options panel you have a date filter active, which excludes all items published before 2000.01.01 – and those two articles were published that day. If you turn it off, it works okay.

For the search ID=9 the post title is the actual post title, not the book title: https://i.imgur.com/hCEfeAH.png
If you want to search the book title, it is probably a custom field. Try selecting “titulo” field or similar, I think it is probably that one.

    Hi Ernest.
Thank you very much for your help

By mistake I indicate the ID=9 and really the problem I had it in the ID=10

    Thanks for your excellent work

    Kind regards
