    Hey there,

before we purchased this plugin for our customer, we asked some pre-sales question.
One of them was that it should be possible to show custom taxonomies as a result in live search.

We found the settings page for this topic, and we think that we configured it correctly but unfortunately it doesn’t work.
There are no categories shown in our results page or live search.

    I attached some screenshots.

We created a custom Post Type “Zill Produkte” with a custom taxonomy “Zill-Produktkategorie”.
There are parent and child categories.

In our Vision we search for the term “Siloschutzgitter”, “Verpackung”, “Sichtschutz” or any other term and the results deliver the respective category or products within this category.

At the moment only the products are shown. We tested it with normal Posts and Categories. There it works.

The search is implemented on this page: https://zill.seowerk.org/de/tutorial/
    Login is: https://zill.seowerk.org/wp-admin/

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi!

Thank you very much for the details, it helps a lot! Your configuration looks all right.

I suspect the issue might be related to untranslated items. By default the plugin has the WPML compatibility enabled, so only items are displayed, which are translated, and have a translation in the current language. You can turn that off here: https://i.imgur.com/53EW0Ov.png

That will very likely solve the issue.

Ah yes, that is the solution.

Ok, then I will set it back when we created the different languages and translations for those categories, am I right?

    Thank you!
