Your plugin probably access the postmeta table and not the termmeta table?

Does this solution work:
Writing an excerpt in my custom taxonomy description? It should be searchable, shouldn’t it?

Another question:
Can I somehow bring my custom taxonomies to the front of the search results instead of my product post type?
They are the actual results which we want to offer our user.
