ParticipantHi there,
I noticed my site is loading Google fonts from three different plugin’s CSS (this was pointed out by the WP Rocket team).
Please see here: https://i.imgur.com/U4LCyt9.jpeg
I just wanted to understand what fonts Ajax Search Pro is loading and to remove them? I have the whole website using system fonts so I would like Ajax Search Pro to use the same fonts, and not load any extra font assets at all.
Kind regards,
Will

KeymasterHi Will,
You can completely turn off the google fonts queue here: https://i.imgur.com/hGb7Ejo.png
That will do the trick 🙂July 15, 2022 at 1:14 pm #38443willgreeny59
ParticipantHi Ernest,
Thank you for that – I do actually have that turned off already, what else could be the issue of Roboto appearing?
Kind regards,
Will

KeymasterHi Will,
I don’t think that is coming from our plugin. When that option is turned off, all the font includes are terminated.
You can test this by turning off ajax search pro, the font should be still there afterwards.July 18, 2022 at 2:48 pm #38463willgreeny59
ParticipantHi Ernest,
Gotcha – with this, what reason is Roboto appearing in the below screenshot for Ajax Search Pro resources?

KeymasterHi Willi,
It is possible, that you have set the search to use the Roboto font under the typography options – or more likely I believe one of the filter features (I think the select/multiselect with search) has by default the Roboto font set with a fallback to Helvetica – maybe it is matching that.
The font-face is definitely not enqueued though, so that does nothing at all. If you want to see which fonts were actually included and rendered, you can do that via the developer tools: https://i.imgur.com/s1QVL9h.pngJuly 18, 2022 at 3:05 pm #38467Ernest Marcinko
KeymasterActually correction, the best way to actually check which fonts were loaded is via the networks panel: https://i.imgur.com/dQdqe3u.png
Open the panel, clear everything, the reload the page. -
