ParticipantI have set autopopulate to > results for a search phrase and left the phrase field empty
My ordering is > 1 Relevance – 2 Date ascendingbut when I visit the page it doesn’t autopopulate, I receive a “no results” message
If I change the autopopulate setting to “latest results” then it does autopopulate, but that is still not good for me because it shows all the tags and categories as results before all the contents.
I do want tags and categories to show up, but when autopopulate I want all the contents listed from the latest one to the oldest one.
What am I doing wrong?
Quick admin login link provided
backend form name “Meditazioni”
Frontend check https://accademiainfinita.it/2/meditazioni-guidate-copy/
page made with oxygen, search and results inserted in 2 different sections via short code
Thanks,
UPDATE:
I also have a couple more issues (same form, same page)
1.
If I only select a filter without typing any word in the search filed, nothing happens. I want the search to be triggered also by filter only, but I cannot find the right setting to do it.
2.
If I click the reset button, I want the search result to autopopulate again with the “latest contents”, instead I receive a “no results” messageJanuary 23, 2023 at 3:16 pm #41051Ernest Marcinko
KeymasterHi,
Thank you for the details.
All of the issues was caused by a misconfiguration – the minimum number of characters to trigger the search was set to 3, I changed it back to 0: https://i.imgur.com/tBokfsx.png
Now the search will trigger even if the box is empty, and will yield results for the auto populate.

ParticipantThank you.
Do you know why my tags and categories always show above the posts in an autopopulate search, or if I only use the filters?
You recognize categories and tags because they have a default image with a blue mandala symbol.https://accademiainfinita.it/2/meditazioni-guidate-copy/
I have chosen to show my tags and categories in the search results, but if they always have to show like this then I prefer to disable them, or am I doing something wrong?
Sorry for bothering you, but there are so many configurations!

KeymasterYes – it is based on this ordering: https://i.imgur.com/a5AmYup.png
If you drag the “post_page_cpt” to the front, then the post type results will be displayed first, then the rest.January 23, 2023 at 5:07 pm #41062kyrian
