I’m struggling a bit to get Ajax to work the way it*s supposed.
I have this search string that one of my users searched for:
“kan man ta nutraflex och eliqis samtidigt”
When I search for this string I get a lot of irrelevant hits.
However, I don’t get a hit for this post, which is pretty much a direct hit to me:
The words nutraflex and Eliqis (synonym for Eliquis) exist in that post and URL.
How come this post doesn’t show up as a hit?

It highly depends on how the search is configured. Unfortunately I can’t see the configuration from the front-end only, but the most likely reasons are an incorrectly set keyword logic, an possibly partial/fuzzy matches within other fields.
I suggest trying the following:
– Using a primary/secondary keyword logic for whole and fuzzy matches like so: https://i.imgur.com/kd40s6B.png
– Also using the index table engine – this will make whole keyword matches much more accurateThanks!
I found a few issues, first one was the actual synonym, which was written incorrectly. The other one was the very loose secondary keyword logic. I switched to “OR with exact keyword matches” for the secondary, you should get much more relevant matches.
Sorry, I mean that the word “eleqis” was not set as synonym for “elequis”. If you check the screenshot, then both the original and the synonym were “elequis”. That’s why it didn’t match even partially.
Normally the plugin does not let adding the same word as the synonym and should warn you about this, but it looks like it somehow failed the word check. I will patch that for the next release 🙂No, look carefully, they are different words.
Original: Eliquis
Synonym: Elequis
3rd letter is different
Because I changed it already. The screenshot shows how they are before. I have corrected that and reindexed. That’s why searching “kan man ta nutraflex och eliqis samtidigt” will now give you that result.
