Hello,
I have tried to automate the backend of a product for my client and in the short product description I am using the ACF shortcodes to display some text which is being used on the product tiles throughout the site. However, when the search is used it just returns the tick icon and no text. I tried switching on the ‘execute shortcode’ function in the search bar but it does not work.
Is this possible?

Thank you for the details, it helps a lot!
The only issue was, that the primary source of the content field by default is the excerpt field, which in this case is auto generated and contains the “gibberish” trimmed from the original content.
By changing the primary field from excerpt to post content seemed to resolve the issue.
