Hi,
I am having an issue that I cannot search files from a specific media folder. Could you please tell me how to configure search module to search only PDFs from a specific media folder? I have read documentation and knowledge base but i haven’t find similar topic.Thanks in advance.

I’m afraid that may not be possible, or maybe perhaps via custom code, but I’m not sure.
By default wordpress does not have a feature to organize media to folders, all media go to the default upload locations. Do you use any plugins for organization?Hi,
well, I have functionality of media folders, where you can create categories and you can place documents/media into those categories. Not sure if that funcionality is wordpress native or not but I am sure that I haven’t installed any plugin for it.
If I have to use custom code, where it should be placed?

There is no such thing in native wordpress unfortunately, that is either a plugin feature or custom coded.
Can you please add temporary back-end details so I can see how it works exactly? If it’s actually categories/taxonomy terms, then there is hope.
All right, I tried now again and it’s all right. It must have been a temporary server issue or something.
Either way, it looks to be possible. I have adjusted only one setting, this one. Now whatever is set on the post inclusions is going to be included only in the results.
