ParticipantHovertip shows and also the menu thinks it is a menu items and highlights the search box when selected. This did not happen with the ajax search lite version.
For security reasons, we cannot give you access to website.

KeymasterHi,
I’m not familiar with what Hovertips is, but this is definitely not an issue with the search I’m afraid. The highlight seens to be the source code of the plugin itself.
Can I at least take a look at the issue somewhere?

ParticipantHi,
It is all behind a paywall. Not the lite version doe not do this. See attached image for lite version, it works perfectly.

KeymasterOnce again, this is not our plugin doing, but the other one.
I’m more than happy to help, but I need to at least see the issue to see if there is anything we can do from our end. The output from both Lite and Pro plugins is handled exactly the same way, so the best I can do is check to see what may trigger that.
Other note, you may need the extended license if the plugin is hidden behind a paywall.

ParticipantHi,
How to fix this then? Can we do a zoom call so we can share my screen and fix this?
There is 100% a difference. What setting in the lit do I have that is making this symptom not appear? What setting in the PRO should be there so this symptom does not appear?
If we are able to solve this, I might keep this product (pro version), and get the extended license, else, I might just remove both and ask for a refund.
Kind regards,
Patrick

KeymasterThe only way to fix this is for me to at least see the issue and proceed from there. The problem is clearly not caused by the search, but I am more than happy to help you either way. I still need to access the website to do a basic debugging on the actual output via the browser debugger, there is no other way unfortunately.

ParticipantLet me know where I can send the zoom invite so we can do this together.

KeymasterI’m sorry, but we can only do support via these forums.
Video call wouldn’t make it easier, as I still need to see the issue in my own browser to be able to debug it.
Can you perhaps create a temporary user account where I can log-in? That would bring this much closer to a possible solution. I can probably tell if there is a way via a custom code, or if you need to contact the other plugin/theme authors to disable that on a specific instance.

ParticipantHello,
This is unacceptable. Can you issue a refund please?
Kind regards,
Patrick

KeymasterSure!
You can open a query via this link.
I will try to push to get it accepted, but it may get rejected as we couldn’t check the issue and is not directly caused by the plugin unfortuantely. I am still more than happy to take a look, but without seeing the issue it’s impossible to tell unfortunately. -
