ParticipantHi
I want to add the search on a archive page build with elementor.
The widget I want to search in is ‘archive posts’ (elementor).
When I search I only get “no results”

KeymasterHi,
Can you please share back-end, FTP details as well as a link where I can see the issue? I will check out the configuration and debug if needed.
It is most likely only a minor misconfiguration somewhere.

ParticipantI want to add the search , which is a archive page for the category
This archive page is built using elementor theme builder, and when I add the search bar you can see it loading but it says sorry no results.
Thanks in advance

KeymasterYes – I’m working on it now 🙂

KeymasterI have found an issue – it was such a tiny bug. Everything was perfectly set up, but after the successful override the post type argument was emptied for some reason and Elementor triggered the “no results” message.
I have fixed the issue within ajax search pro, and noted it on the bug tracker. This will be permanently fixed in the upcoming release.

Participantawesome, thank you.
Is there a way to preserve the featured image quality when doing a search. When I search the image quality drops.

KeymasterYou are welcome.
Looks like it has somethin to do with the scrset not processing, I’m not sure. Either way I have installed a beta version, where I added a forced detection of the scset. After clearing your browser cache and searching, you should get the exact same image quality as before searching.
