Hello, unfortunatly none of my search instances are working any more after I updated to the latest version of your plugin. I rebuild the index but it doesnt help.

    Could you please help me?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Isabelle,

Make sure to follow the important update notes section within the documentation: https://wpdreams.gitbooks.io/ajax-search-pro-documentation/content/update_notes.html

There are no error messages within the ajax response body, so I’m not able to tell what’s causing it without debugging.

After trying the solution from the documentation, can you please update the ticket details with temporary back-end and FTP access? Since there are no error messages I will have to do a line-by-line debugging via FTP to see where the program execution stops.

    Best,
    Ernest Marcinko

Thank you for your fast reply. I did all the steps from the documentation (reinstalled the plugin and saved all options) but nothing works 🙁

I updated my ticket with the passwords you need… I hope you can help me.
    Cheers

Thank you for the details, I have found the problem.

It’s known issue with the current version affecting a very small portion of installations using a specific PHP version. Basically it was a bug in the PHP environment causing it. I’ve fixed it by adding an extra line to the search plugin.

This of course will be implemented to the upcoming version, so it shouldn’t happen again 🙂
