After installing and then activating the plugin, my “Slider Revolution” would not load. I had not even put the search bar on the page. When it was on the page, the live search function would not work. I found an older version, 4.0, just to see if it would work and it did. Not sure what is going on…. Currently, I have 4.7 installed. I do love the search bar and don’t mind waiting for a fix or if I need to do a workaround.

I’ve installed the latest version of the plug-in (4.8), I hope you don’t mind. Then I checked the javascript console for errors, and there was indeed a report of something unexpected, but there was no information of the exact cause, and I could not trace it back.
However I changed the Javascript Source option on the search plugin Compatibility Settings submenu to “Minified” and the error disappeared. Now it should work correctly 🙂
