If I understand correctly, you want the auto-populated results shown by alphabetical order, just like the normal search results. In that case, try this configuration on the auto-populate panel: https://i.imgur.com/MQ0LPzF.png
That will do the trick.
The numeric value ordering is also possible to set up. On the General Options -> Ordering panel you can choose a custom field order: https://i.imgur.com/LboBL3A.png
