1. Unfortunately it is impossible to use with the index table engine. Exact matching requires the whole text for matching, the index table however extracts the individual words. It would only work for posts and custom post types.

If you don’t want to use that, then there is also a feature, that memorizes the search when the user clicks on a result, then navigates back: https://i.imgur.com/VtTXhY1.png
