Many thanks I was able to get the search bar to work
I have noticed two other issues you hopefully can help with?
firstly trying to load the website on my mobile phone the search is there but i can only put in one letter and the screen moves it is almost impossible to use.
The second issue is with https as soon as i do a search i lose the solid green lock. and it has your conection is not secure message
I use a plugin (SSL Insecure Content Fixer) with has sorted out mixed content issues i have had until now.
can you please advise me best course of action to fix these issues
