April 23, 2018 at 10:24 am #17584Ernest MarcinkoKeymasterHi!
Thank you for the details, it helps me a lot!
Unfortunately I can’t see any search module in mobile view. Can you point me to a page where the search is visible on mobile devices, so I can check the issue?
Thank You!April 23, 2018 at 10:39 am #17585alharamParticipantYou cannot access this content.
April 23, 2018 at 12:25 pm #17588Ernest MarcinkoKeymasterHi,
I think I see the problem there. The menu is creating an exact copy of the search nodes via Javascript, and places it into the main and mobile menus. This causes a problem, as multiple search instances will exist with the same ID, which is invalid.
There is a detector script implemented into the plugin, which usually resolves this issue – however in this case it does not work correctly, as there are over 3 copies of each search instance. Can you please add temporary FTP details as well? I would like to debug the duplicate check script.
Can you also check the back-end logins, I was not able to log-in with them.April 23, 2018 at 1:22 pm #17591alharamParticipantYou cannot access this content.

April 24, 2018 at 7:17 pm #17617Ernest MarcinkoKeymasterHi,
Thank you very much, that works.
Can you please also check the back-end access? I applied a possible fix, but I can’t check, because an option needs to be changed and the cache needs to be cleared as well. Thank you!

April 25, 2018 at 8:53 am #17627Ernest MarcinkoKeymasterHi!
No, no need for ssh access 🙂 I was just not able to log-in to the admin area, but I have tried now and now it was working. I have changed the javascript options, now it is working for me on mobile devices as well.
Please clear your browser cache, and try it now, it should be working: https://i.imgur.com/fjcJvPX.png
I will make sure to include this modification in the next plugin release, so this issue does not appear again.April 25, 2018 at 9:46 am #17628alharamParticipantYou cannot access this content.
April 25, 2018 at 5:30 pm #17636Ernest MarcinkoKeymasterHi,
For the patch:
– I have modified the following file, please keep a copy of it: wp-content\plugins\ajax-search-pro\js\nomin\asp_wrapper.js
– Also, make sure that this option is set to ‘Non minified’: https://i.imgur.com/zLqgCKd.pngFor performance, I suggest checking these tips and tricks in the documentation:
– Visual performance (javascript and CSS)
– Search performance -
