We are successfully using the Google Places API to autosuggest and autocomplete on searches.
Is there a way to limit the type of places returned when using the Google Places autosuggest and autocomplete. I see that in the Google Places API there is a filter for type of place. We want only to return the type ‘universities’
Is there a way to utilize this filter in the api with Ajax Search Pro?
We also have another related question. When we try to use post titles as the autosuggest or autocomplete source for a search limited to our Buddyboss/Buddypress groups nothing is suggested. Why? It is pulling up the groups in the search results but the autosuggest for post title doesn’t suggest any of the group names.

Unfortunately filtering results by places API or other geo coordinates is not possible. It is a work in progress, it should be available later this year.

The auto suggest does not suggest buddypress group titles, because those are not post types, but stored in a separate table. At the moment that feature only works with post type results.
