The results page template is unfortunately fully controlled by the currently active theme, the plugin cannot affect it’s layout. It’s usually displayed via the search.php file in the theme directory.
You can however disable the redirection when hittin the return key in the search form on the General Options -> Logic & Behavior panel: http://i.imgur.com/hH0op6t.png
