Oh okay, so you actually need the date filters. In that case, I suggest adjusting the date filter default values to a relative date. For example:
– The ‘from’ date to a few years before the current date
– The ‘after’ date to the current date

Unfortunately the date fields cannot be empty, they need to have a default value selected, and that is the closest possible solution.
