ParticipantHi there,
I renewed support today 🙂
We use Thrive Themes for some years now and switched to the theme Thrive Theme Builder some days ago.
Ajax Search Pro works fine.
But on two pages two icons of ASP flash very big for a very short time while loading the page:

https://haushaltsfee.org/gratis-downloads/You can see the issue here in the video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YyeNgCzLd0We talked already to Thrive Theme Support and they sent us back to you.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards,

KeymasterHi Karsten,
You have the asynchronous CSS loader feature enabled, and that issue is called FOUC. I recommend turning that feature off here, as there is almost no benefit in your case.
That will resolve the problem 🙂June 29, 2020 at 11:42 am #28144Karsten Windfelder
ParticipantHi Ernest,
thank you for your time.
If I change “Load CSS files conditionally? (asnychronous, experimental!)” to “off” it will show the big icons permanantly. See attached screenshot.
So I switched back to “on”.

KeymasterMake sure to clear your site, asset, minification, CDN, and browser caches after change. If you have an agressive cache system, the stylesheet file might not be registered after the change immediately.

ParticipantHmm, not working:

I cleared my browser cache and Raidboxes Cache.
is there a cache in the Ajax Search Pro plugin?

KeymasterNo, the plugin does not do page cache related stuff.
I checked other pages, where it works just fine, for example: https://haushaltsfee.org/?s=1If you want, you can add temporary back-end access details, and I will take a look at the configuration.

KeymasterThank you!
I disabled both inline styles, and the conditional loader, now it looks all right: https://i.imgur.com/5da1JgP.png
These are the default options anyway, so it should be okay from now on.June 29, 2020 at 1:14 pm #28154Karsten Windfelder
ParticipantThank you!
But now after reloading the page the logo appears in the middle, goes to the left (without the full background) and then back to the middle.
This happens on all pages now.

KeymasterThat happens even if I disable the plugin. It is noticable if I lower the connection speeds, the browser simply needs to process more things at once. If I simulate a lower speed, it is noticable even if the plugin is disabled: https://youtu.be/Z023jQ2bBVs

ParticipantOk, thank you Ernst. I have to do more research on the theme side then.
