Participant1. We’ve the filter by categories but it is not working. Nothing is being filtered.
2. How to disable clicking on the page will make the search results disappear?
3. Not sure if it’s related to the above. If we try to select a date on the date picker in the date filter, the search results will disappear too.

KeymasterHi,
1. I assume, you might be seeing posts, which does not have the taxonomy assigned to them. By default it is expected to return them, however in your case it might not be desired. You can turn it off here: https://i.imgur.com/SS8RDAk.png
You can also experiment with different checkbox logics here: https://i.imgur.com/fVgmfAz.png2. & 3. By turning off this option: https://i.imgur.com/4DEikPB.png

ParticipantThank you for your reply. But I think something is broken. All our posts have categories assigned to them. You should see the category the post belonged in the search results just under the featured image in small fonts.
Try search for something like credit suisse then unselect one of the category, you will see the total number of the results doesn’t change at all.
Could you look at it more closely to see what’s wrong? I think this happens after we need to re-import the settings, after we dumped the database from another wordpress.

KeymasterThank you!
There was indeed a minor bug, when this option was disabled, the taxonomy filters were ingored, even when used via the shortcode. I made a correction, and it will be included in the upcoming release. It should be okay now.

ParticipantThank you! Could you tell us which option it is?
I’ve another question, if we re-categorise the posts, do we need to delete the index table and create again?

KeymasterIt was the ones in the attached screenshot, but I left it untouched.
No, the index changes automatically, when the post is saved.

ParticipantOh didn’t realize you actually updated the plugin files. Thanks a lot – you are lifesaver!
