I may need temporary SFTP access as well. I suspect there is a yet unknown issue in relation when the max number of results is set differently for the drop-down and the results page. It is very likely specific for your case becasue of the high number of keywords (over 10 million).
If it’s possible, I would like to debug that to see what is going on.
