I appreciate you taking the time to reply. Clearly you’re successful so I guess it isn’t slowing you down. Of course you “built the model” – CodeCanyon didn’t come to your house in the night and drag you out, forcing you to use their platform.
At the time we started (around 8 years ago) codecanyon was (and probably is) the biggest WordPress related plugin market, so it seemed a good choice. Starting at them was a good idea, as at time I was a college student with no money to invest, and they already had a very strong customer base.
Ah! If I log in to CodeCanyon the same page flips to “6 months support for $27…”
Crazy.I understand, it would be much convenient to have everything in one place, but it is not possible. We, plugin authors just as much rely on the seller platform as our customers.
