Hi,
Can you explain to me how to use ACF fields for filtering searches?
Just want to make filters like here: https://ajaxsearchpro.com/filters-without-search-bar/ except it will be made for printers.
Also wanted to make it look like this for all searches being shown from the beginning and filters up front. https://ajaxsearchpro.com/staff-search-filter/
I tried to make it like on the first screenshot but it is not showing filters in both cases.
Also in screenshots you will find what acf fields are used. (Manufacturer – “Producent,” Features – “Opcje drukarki”)
I hope you can help me!Best Regards

Thank you for the details. The filters on the screenshots look okay to me. I only noticed one thing. If you want to have the “Select all” option selected as default, then make sure to remove the “**” double stars from the scond item: https://i.imgur.com/ahCRAIf.png
Best,
On those examples, we use the search shortcode, and simply have this option enabled.
If you also wish to show the results initially, then make sure to turn on the auto-populate feature.

November 30, 2020 at 3:01 pm #30423Hello!
Everything worked great, thank you a lot!
Filter by categories only need to bee tweaked, somehow i menage to make it work like – if select all is “on” then it shows results correctly but when only one and more categories is “off” it shows no result page. It can be something in logic settings from filtering by categories?Attachments:

It is very hard to tell only from screenshots, but I would suggest checking the checkbox logic first, to make sure it is correct: https://i.imgur.com/ttVbgsi.png
Best,
The “OR” logic is probably the one you want.
