ParticipantHello,
I have 3 separate search bars on my page and I want to know which keywords my customers have entered.
I followed multiple documentations, and tried different things but it doesn’t seem to be working..In attachment you can find my settings in Google Search Analytics (which results in empty since I created this website).
For example, if I search ‘pizza’ the complete URL = https://esupply.be/winkel/?asp_ls=pizza&asp_active=1
So I capture the ‘asp_ls’ in the Google Analytics, isn’t this correct?Thank you for looking into this.
Best,

KeymasterHi Andrea,
The URL you mentioned is used as the Elementor live results loader? Or is it an Elementor results page (not live search)?
I tried to check the linked page, but the site is locked.August 10, 2020 at 1:10 pm #28868esupply
ParticipantHello Ernest,
I thought I added the login credentials when I submitted the ticket, no?
Anyway, I disabled the maintenance so you can access the website now.It is through live search, but this still makes a network call so it should be able to work with Google Analytics, no?
Thank you.

KeymasterHi,
I still cannot access the site unfortunately. There are no credentials in the initial post either.
Unfortunately no, only the search end GA event is triggered in that case, if the analytics integration is enabled as Event Tracker. That is however not a pageview, but an event. I don’t recall the exact reason, but we could not make it work so that a pageview was triggered there, only as an event. I think it was something do to with google preventing fake pageviews on certain conditions.
I’m not sure if the google analytics search tracker can be wired to trigger on an even though, probably not possible.August 10, 2020 at 1:32 pm #28875esupply
ParticipantSorry it wasn’t saved, now it’s saved. I can provide you the credentials if this makes things easier for you?
Analytics is set to event tracker.August 10, 2020 at 1:42 pm #28877Ernest Marcinko
KeymasterThank you.
Well, that is not going to work that way I’m sorry. The search events will still appear on the events tracker – it contains the search phrase as well, but I’m afraid the searches cannot be recorded as a pageview in that situation.
I logged this as a feature request, but I cannot promise anything unfortuantely. Google does not like live requests as peviews much.

ParticipantHello,
Okay not a problem, thank you for checking this incident! Maybe include a feature request that we can filter the requests per day/month/year at Ajax Search Pro? Now I can see the keywords that are entered, but I can’t filter it unfortunately.
This would also solve my problem with Google Analytics, I just want to see what is searched per day/month/etc.
Thank you for your help!

KeymasterHi,
Sure! I will check if there is any way to do that as well.
