Ajax Search Pro – No Layout Options Button

No Layout Options. Can’t enable keyword highlight. Other menu options don’t appear. I disable all plugins except for Ajax Pro. No luck. Originally Ajax Lite.

If the back-end is not loading, then try clearing your browser page, as well a disabling browser extensions. The best browser to use for back-end is Google Chrome, but Firefox, Safari and IE should work all right as well.

I really appreciate the fast response and screenshot. I’ve tried to get the buttons (especially layout options) viewable but I can’t. I tried on my desktop and laptop using Chrome and disabling all extensions, cookies and cache plus browsing history. Any other suggestions.

I use a Mac. Iogged into a Windows 10 computer using Chrome and still no buttons as in your screenshot. I also used the uninstall button to remove Ajax Pro and reinstalled and I’m still getting the same results. This is really baffling for me since the keyword highlights is so important.

I just tried it again, and it seemed to work all right on IE as well as on all other browsers. I even tried a different computer, and a virtual machine, all work just fine:
1. I clicked the Ajax Search Pro menu, then created a new search instance called “Test”: https://i.imgur.com/gjgJBbr.png
2. Then after clicking the “gear” icon I am taken to the search settings, where the highlighter feature is visible as well: https://i.imgur.com/VADGgTJ.png
