Apostrophe in search term breaking search

Hi,

One of the users of the site has reported that any search terms with an apostrophe in, seem to break the search and don’t load any results. Is this already known, and if so, is there a way we can prevent the search from returning no results?

Hi,

There was a known issue with an older version, related to the highlighter. Can you please make sure to upgrade to the latest version 4.27, clear the cache and see if that solve the issue?

Unfortunately, the errors are still persisting.

I updated the plugin on staging.ispnlibrary.org and cleared the browser cache, deleted all files from /wp-content/cache/asp. We don’t have any other caching running on the staging server. I also tried a private browser window but still no luck.

frontend username: ispn-admin
frontend password: mrq4QDW*jua0qdn@zpc

Note: live is still 4.26.11 as I wanted to run tests on staging before deploying.

Let me know if you need access to the Staging server and I’ll create a login.

Oh I think I know what this is. It was fixed in 4.27.1 but it’s not yet released, I remembered incorrectly, I thought it was included within 4.27.

Please download this version and install it, it should fix the problem.
