Arabic or Persian RTL

    HI

    Search prediction text for Arabic and Persian charachters direction does not show correctly for IOS.

    Please see my screenshot. Note the left parantes wrong direction.

    It shows correctly on Android and all desktop latform.

    Thank you very much for the details!

    I have checked, and the body element is missing the “rtl” class. I strongly recommend adding it, as that way WordPress indicates that the site is currently in an RTL direction mode.

    If you can’t add it to the body tag, then try adding it to the container tag of the plugin shortcode container.

    Thank you. I applied rtl class but all search text justified right. Dont want that as both English and Persian are used in the website. And it wirks fine for all devices except IOS.

    Is there any setting in th eplugin for rtl that I can play with?

    Well, in that case the browser decides the direction, and it completely depends on it. You can try a custom CSS, maybe something like:

    div.asp_m.ajaxsearchpro .probox input {
        text-align: start;
        unicode-bidi: plaintext;
    }

    That will force an automatic direction to the start based on the characters.
