Hi
I am trying to update the plugin but it does not let me it returns the below:
An error occurred while updating Ajax Search Pro: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.
Any ideas as to why?
Thanks
Hi,
The WordPress update method has changed recently, and on some installations gives this error message via the auto updater. We resolved this in 4.20.6 onwards, so if you update manually now, it should be okay later on.
Best,OK will do, what is the best way to update manually?
1.Deactivate the plugin
2.Delete the plugin
3.Upload new version plugin zip
Thanks
Exactly, all the search configuration will remain in the database.
