ParticipantHello,
I’ve recently bought the plugin having read that it worked OK with Avada Theme.
I’m having the following problem:
When I do a live search I get results, but I need the results to be displayed in the results page, and that option is not working for me. I get a “Nothing found” message whenever I do a search, even if there are results to show. I’ve noticed that disabling Avada solves the problem, but I really need to keep the theme active so I hope there’s another workaround, could you help me please?
ThanksFebruary 22, 2021 at 1:41 pm #31727Ernest Marcinko
KeymasterHi,
There seems to be some sort of an issue on that page template. Even when I disable the search plugin and trigger an empty search I am getting this message: https://i.imgur.com/6D2E6Zn.png
The page seems to be broken as well and some invalid HTML is also present there.February 22, 2021 at 2:07 pm #31731ramiroavalos90
ParticipantHello Ernest, thanks for your reply.
So is this something I should check with Avada?February 22, 2021 at 2:14 pm #31733Ernest Marcinko
KeymasterProbably yes, especially if the search works on the default theme. If you have made any customizations to the theme, try swithing back to the original to see if that made any conflicts.

ParticipantHello Ernest,
Thanks for the reply.
I’ll contact the Avada team regarding the results page problem.
Meanwhile, I was wondering if you could help me setting up a filters search like this one: https://ajaxsearchpro.com/filter-examples/I would like to be able to filter by categories without needing to enter a search term in the search box. I’ve managed to do this by disabling the search bar completely, but I would actually like to keep it there and ignore it if it’s empty (just like in the example from your website). I’ve tried several configurations and couldn’t make it work.
Thanks!

KeymasterSure!
Make sure the minimum characters needed to trigger the search is set to 0 as well as the facet trigger is set: https://i.imgur.com/PRSvvGW.png
That should be the default configuration.February 23, 2021 at 3:51 pm #31752ramiroavalos90
ParticipantHello Ernest,
Thanks again for your reply, it’s very helpful.
Unfortunately, I’ve reviewed this with the rest of the team and having a functioning results page is crucial, and we also need to keep the Avada Theme.
I’m really sorry for the inconvenience but we’ll have to ask for a refund.
Hope it’s ok and thanks anyway for all your helpFebruary 24, 2021 at 1:21 pm #31781Ernest Marcinko
KeymasterIt is all right. We will review the request within a few days. We follow the codecanyon refund guidelines, so it may not get approved, but I will see what I can do about it.
