Hi
I am using Categories & Taxonomy Terms in my search and have 3 post categories enabled for the search. When I tick the first radio button it is working and it is showing the results, but when i tick any of the other radio button i am getting “no results”.
Under post the categories are selected and post are assigned to the categories.
Thanks
Edwin

August 8, 2016 at 11:58 am #9692Hi Edwin,
I’m not able to log-in with the details, so I’m not sure, but I have two possible guesses:
1. Items from the second and third radio are also part of the first (or remaining unselected), therefore it’s treated as an exclusion. On the Frontend search settings -> Advanced panel try changing the Category/Taxonomy terms logic option to “At least one of the selected terms should match” value: https://i.imgur.com/Veo5Tx8.png
2. ..or a category might be excluded into which the expected results belong to as well. You can check that on the Advanced Options -> Exclude results panel.

August 8, 2016 at 12:37 pm #9693Thanks, that worked, but is it possible to search without any of the radio buttons selected?
Search through everything
August 8, 2016 at 1:30 pm #9695Well, you could use the “Choose one/any” option: https://i.imgur.com/zl4EYem.png
