Category and Term Search

Good Morning
I need to search by categories and terms like in the demo of “Category and Term Search” link, I have been searching but I have not found a way to solve it. Could you tell me how to do it?

Hi!

You can choose which taxonomies to search and return on the General Options -> Sources 2 panel: http://i.imgur.com/S6ZRdoV.png
I believe that is what you are looking for.

I already have it done but it is not the result that I want
Right now it appears to me like this but I just want the category to appear and the numbers that do not appear in the articles

Hi,

I don’t think I understand correctly. From the screenshot I see you have grouping enabled by custom post type. The category results appear on the bottom of the list in the ‘Other results’ group, like they are supposed to. Is this not correct?

I might need more information to be able to help you:
– Do you not want post types as results, only categories?
– Do you not want to group the results?
– Do you want to display the categories first then the results?
– ..or is the problem something else?

Already solve the problem but now I have a new one 🙁 In the search engine I have put that order for page product and post and in the ajax it shows me well but when I give to enter that I have it in that I show the page of results already Does not follow that order but it shows the post. What can I do to show me the results page the first page?

Hi!

Make sure to have the search results override activated.
I believe that should be the issue.
