Category exclude doesnt work

Hi,

I’ve bought Ajax Search pro for wordpress. But when i exclude some category’s, the plugin ignores the setting.

For example: I only want to show some pages from category “Online handleidingen”. No other posts or pages. But i can’t setup this setting.

When you search for windows 8, the Windows 8 page is in the “online-handleidingen” category, but shows “Other results” in the search plugin.

I hope you can help me

Hi!

To search only in one category you must exclude all other categories. To do this, you need to:

• Exclude all other categories on the “ADVANCED” tab:

• Set the grouping by categories:
  http://s14.postimg.org/5aro343yp/image.png
• You should get something like this:
  http://s14.postimg.org/bpvadj029/image.png

I just tested this on the demo site and it worked (the screenshot were taken there).
