This is a password protected staging site as well

    user: flywheel

I have set up the search; however, when tried setting up the check boxes for the product types (custom post type categories) it is very clunky, all of the items are automatically checked and when I uncheck one item the search results dropdown automatically shows.

I reverted the settings and removed for now. Can you point me in the right direction for how to set this up.

When the term camera is searched which is a category all the items in that category should show.

Additionally this is not the final url. How will I update that when we make the site live?

Please email correspondence for the ticket to [email protected]

    Thank you

    Hi,

Yes, of course! Thank you for the details, it helps a lot.

I assume you rather have the checkboxes unchecked by default, then apply filters only if the user enters a phrase.

With that in mind, I have changed the following settings:
    – Changed the checkboxes default state to unchecked
    – Changed the default logic, as it will likely suit your case better
    – Changed the minimum character count to trigger the search, so that filters without a phrase won’t trigger the search

Once you change the URL of the site, it will ask for the license key again on the next check phase, and it will update it on our remote server too.

    I hope this helps!

Okay, I see. So these filters are to narrow down existing results. If you also want to search items by category titles, you have to enable this option, that will do the trick.
