    Hi Ernest,

Hope you’re well! This is likely a simple question, but I can’t figure out where to find the settings for this.

At the moment, when someone types into the search box in my site, they are presented with the results moving from left to right across the search box (see attachment 1).

What I’m wanting is for the results to appear in a drop down moving from top to bottom (see attachment 2).

    How would I configure this?

    Hi,

The easiest option is to choose a search theme with the ‘vertical’ word in it here: https://i.imgur.com/qp2JJMz.png
Most themes have a ‘vertical’ version of them as well.

You can also force the vertical results layout for any theme you have, via this option: https://i.imgur.com/m260b25.png
In that case however you will probably have to adjust the font colors, background colors etc.. for the results box, as it may not match with the given theme.

    Best,
