March 4, 2019 at 3:57 pm #21379Hi,
Okay, I understand now. Do you use the compact box shortcode anywhere on the page?
Best,
You will need to add the shortcode somewhere, or use the widget in the footer, or somewhere in order for it to work.

March 4, 2019 at 4:18 pm #21384ah… just making compact search and doing ‘Compact search box position’ is not enough? but i watched your video. just making compact search is enough… hmm…
I want to make a compact search like your site https://ajaxsearchpro.com/ this.
March 4, 2019 at 4:23 pm #21385Hi,
Unfortunately no, you will have to use the shortcode somewhere, otherwise it won’t work. I usually recommend using the footer, or a footer widget, that is the most simple solution.

March 4, 2019 at 4:25 pm #21386um… if I use shortcode on footer, but it will appear on top 20% if i set position fixed top 20%? not on footer?
March 4, 2019 at 4:26 pm #21387Yes, of course, if the position is ‘fixed’, then it does not matter where you place it.
